Who wouldn't want personalized guitar straps? Customizing your items not only individualizes your things but ensures that your items aren't used by others. Another material that makes excellent personalized guitar straps are woven materials. Due to the texture, the personalization process used will be more limited than that of leather. However, the ability to personalize still exists. For this type of strap, although you can personalize it yourself, it is better to have a custom guitar strap made. The design can be incorporated into the weave of the strap as it is made. This process ensures that the personalization will not wear and will last as long as the strap will. The types of customization processes that are offered will vary between the many companies who do offer personalized guitar straps. If you already have an idea (special order) that a company doesn't offer, don't hesitate to ask if they can do what you want done. This is especially true with a smaller company; more often than not, they will be willing to compensate and you will get exactly what you want.
When choosing a company to do the work for you, ensure that you see their prior work first. Make sure that you can ask questions beforehand and afterwards. If you have questions about the final product, there should be an opportunity to speak to someone regardless if the concerns are negative or positive.
Ensure that the guitar strap itself is made of a high quality material and that the ends are very durable and strong. Know what type of material that the guitar strap will be made from (calfskin, buffalo, nylon, etc.). Get a price and time frame of when the work will be done.
